Types of Speech & Communication Disorders
Diagnosis & Treatment
A trained Speech Pathologist can conduct a comprehensive evaluation to identify any speech, language, or communication challenges. After the evaluation, a treatment plan can be devloped to support your child.
Speech & Language Services in Schools
If parents observe that their child is having difficulties with communication, social skills, speech and language, reading, math, writing, or other areas, they might suspect a learning disability, which schools refer to as specific learning disabilities, and the child might need special education services in order to learn.

Under IDEA, public schools must provide FREE evaluations for special education eligibility.
