When the brain has trouble sorting or responding to these signals, it can affect focus, emotions, and daily routines.
Sensory challenges are common in children with autism or ADHD but can also happen on their own. With the right support—like sensory tools, calming spaces, or help from an occupational therapist—children can feel more comfortable and confident at home, in school, and in the community.
